International Queer Stammtisch

Hiranmay und Andrew leben schon lange in der Stadt, vermissen aber bislang eine Gruppe, die Menschen verschiedener Kulturen zwanglos zusammenbringt, zumal solche, die noch nicht fließend Deutsch sprechen. "Da traut man sich vielleicht nicht, sich sofort einer der vielen Freizeitgruppen im Sub anzuschließen", sagt Hiranmay. Sie lieben es einfach, mit anderen abzuhängen. Die Gruppe macht das Ankommen in München einfacher. Wenn Menschen verschiedener Kulturen zusammenkommen, dürfte das für alle eine Bereicherung sein. Geplant sind neben den regelmäßigen Gruppentreffen an jedem zweiten Dienstag im Monat auch Freizeit- und Kulturevents wie Stadtspaziergänge, Museumsbesuche, Ausflüge ins Umland - alles ist möglich.

Let's meet, chat and have a laugh

Hiranmay and Andrew have been living in Munich for some time, but so far they have missed being part of a group that brings people of different cultures together, especially those who do not yet speak fluent German. "People may not feel confident to immediately join one of the many recreational German speaking groups in the Sub, even though they just love to hang out with others", Hiranmay says.

The International Gay Stammtisch meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. and brings together Münchener's and gays from all over the world. In addition to the regular bi weekly group meetings, there will also be planned leisure and cultural events such as city walks, museum visits, excursions into the surrounding countryside - anything is possible! This group will hopefully make arriving and settling in Munich easier!
